GradSchoolMatch from ETS is an online platform to help prospective students find the best fit for a graduate school and help recruiters stand out among top prospects.
For a $195 registration fee, GradSchoolMatch allows programs to create a profile to showcase unique strengths, then sends notifications when prospects express interest and provides a site to cultivate personal connections.

EducationUSA Global Guide Now Available

The 2021 EducationUSA Global Guide and COVID supplement are available on the EducationUSA website and are also uploaded to GPDNet.
The Global Guide provides detailed information on current recruitment trends, country highlights and government scholarships written by experts on the ground. The Global Guide also provides statistics on in-person and virtual outreach, along with tips on the best means of communication with students from the region.
EducationUSA has also published a supplement to the Global Guide which offers guidance to higher education institutions formulating recruitment plans and developing strategies to engage prospective international students in light of the ongoing global health crisis.

Summer Marketing Campaign Targets Working Professionals

University Communications, in collaboration with the Graduate School, college communicators and the Teaching and Learning connection, has launched a marketing campaign in the Charlotte region to bring awareness to UNC Charlotte’s part-time, evening programs. The campaign targets the working professional highlighting the depth, breadth and support UNC Charlotte offers.

Running May 17 – August 31, 2021, the media includes digital ads, keyword search, social media ads, plus light-rail ads and three billboards near Uptown. In an effort to increase the prospective student funnel, the campaign website https://professional.uncc.edu uses a Search bar where qualified programs will display with the corresponding GPD name and contact.  Analytic reports on the campaigns progress will be reported via GPDNet throughout the summer.

GRE Webinar: Navigating the New Normal

GRE Search Service will host a free webinar May 12 to share information on how some programs are coping with today’s financial constraints, travel restrictions and technological innovations.

U.S. News and World Report Marketing Opportunity

U.S. News and World Report is offering UNC Charlotte colleges the opportunity to market their graduate programs through Student Connect, their lead generation platform. Through a special rate of approximately $5,000 annually (based upon traffic), colleges receive a profile page at U.S. News and World Report’s education site. From that page there are a number of options colleges can choose including lead generation, Best Graduate Programs impressions and additional reach tools. Because this is administered at the college level, please contact your college communicator if interested in participating.

Campbell Univ. Career Expo Feb. 24

The Campbell University Graduate School Expo Feb. 24 will provide an opportunity to connect with prospective students in a virtual setting.  The event is scheduled from 10-4 p.m.

Prospect Information Session Set Feb. 25

Graduate Admissions will host an opportunity in February for GPDs to meet with interested prospective students via Zoom breakout rooms following a brief Admissions presentation.
GPDs interested in participating in the Feb. 25 event should RSVP by Feb. 4.

Beginning spring semester, Graduate Program Directors (GPDs) will have an opportunity to meet with interested prospective students via zoom breakout rooms following a presentation by Graduate Admissions.
The first information session will be Jan. 21, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Interested GPDs should RSVP to participate by Jan. 4.
